How to deal with the decarburization problem on the surface of honing tubes
Square steel is a bar material and is solid. During its production process, heat treatment will be carried out, so a bright continuous heat treatment furnace will be used to perform intermediate heat treatment and heat treatment of finished products, thereby making the surface of square steel bright and eliminating the traditional pickling process.
There are generally three types of bright continuous heat treatment furnaces, which are roller hearth bright heat treatment furnaces, mesh belt bright heat treatment furnaces and muffle tube bright heat treatment furnaces.
The decarburization phenomenon on the surface of the honing tube is mainly related to oxidizing gases such as oxygen, water vapor and carbon dioxide, and is also related to the heat treatment process. Therefore, these two aspects must be solved to avoid decarburization on the surface of the honing tube. Therefore, during the heat treatment process, efforts should be made to prevent the steel wire from coming into contact with these oxidizing gases.
In addition, if there are residues on the steel wire, some oxidizing gas will be produced after being heated in the furnace, resulting in this phenomenon. Therefore, we must control the atmosphere in the furnace to avoid this phenomenon.
