The process principle of precision piston rod
Hydraulic cylinder is an important actuator in the hydraulic system. It is used to perform reciprocating motion and is widely used in construction machinery. The hydraulic cylinder piston rod is an important component of the hydraulic cylinder. It is usually made of No. 35, No. 34 or seamless steel pipes to make solid rods or hollow rods. In order to improve wear resistance and prevent corrosion, the current domestic traditional process is to plate the surface with hard chromium (plating thickness 0.02-0.05mm) and polish it. Its surface roughness Ra is 1.6-0.4mm.
The precision piston rod is rolled to improve the corrosion resistance of the surface, and can delay the occurrence or expansion of fatigue cracks, thus improving the fatigue strength of the cylinder rod. Through roll forming, a cold work hardening layer is formed on the rolling surface, which reduces the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding pair, thereby improving the wear resistance of the cylinder rod surface and avoiding burns caused by grinding. After rolling, the surface roughness value is reduced, which can improve the matching properties.
